Here i go again...
The new chapter will unfold tml. What will i behold? My heart's heavy from all the uncertainties, I carry the heart of a weary soul. Tough time ahead that stands and wait, and the day is approaching near. I have always wanted out, but there's no other way, so i accept this as a call from You. Help me to be the best i can, to shine in the cold dark world. There's no need to fear, cos' i pray You'll be with me and You're my help indeed. In all my ways i'll trust in You and count on Your grace to lead me through.
Oh dear Lord, You know i hate this life. But take away this weight that bears me down. This is Your call for me, so I'll lay my life for you.
I'll do my best, counting on Your directions.
Lead me, I pray.

Passion
What are you passionate about in life?
Some finds delight in culinary, some find pleasure in movin' and grovin' thru the music, some seeks enjoyment in digging up hard truths in the Word and breaking them up to teach others, some like to help people find directions in life...
Whatever it is....passion is what gives us energy to do what we love best.
Little children drag their feet to school, to clean their room and to finish up their vegetables. Yet the moment you mention about going to the MacDonalds or to the playground they spring back into life!
What is your passion?
Many people has given up their dreams because of the many challenges that stand before them and their goal. I'm thankful that there are many who on the otherhand leaves all that they have to pursue their passion in life.
We all have one life to live. Instead of living it to the fullest, some has given up what they love for the ordinary, for what seems to be safe, for the routine, for the average!
Someone once said: "To discover new land, one must first be willing to lost sight of the shore."
The disciples left all that they had to pursue their love, our Lord. They entered their destiny not because they played it safe but because of their pursuit-they did not give up!
You might say, oh well...what do u know, you don't have a family, you don't have any financial liabilities...
I only got this to say... I rather be on my feet running, trying, getting up whenever i fall than chained to the wall, standing behind bars for the rest of my life. That's freedom! So, before you even have a family, make sure that gal/guy shares the same passion as you and have common understanding!
The sad truth is, sometimes when we are "locked up" for so long... we lose the ability to graze at the stars, instead we focus on the sand on the floor.
I only have one life to live,
I wana live it the way God has intended it for me to...
Get out mediocrity!

Feelings
Feelings.
It is a good servant but never a good master. Many who subject themselves to whatever their emotion dictates find themselves backtracking, regreting the decision they have made due to strong urges.
God's ancient solution has always stayed the same...And it can be summed up in one word: Self-control. The art of restraining oneself may seem to be an act of doubt and not faith to those who joy themselves saved by the grace grace doctrine which huants our generation today. But nevertheless it pays to wait, to hold on, to make the decision to NOT make any decisions implusively when we are very emotional.
Feelings unsubjected to any form of management often lead to bad decisions. Decisions that one would regret making.
Reflecting upon my life, most if not all of the greatest regrets in my life were a direct result of decision made when i was emotional.
Every action in life made have consequences.
Therefore, act wisely!

Expectations
Expectations.
From man or from God?
There's one kind of expectation where one must meet, they are godly standards and requirements that guard our lives.
There's another kind of expectation we have. One which is imposted, either by self or others. These expectations when stretched over the line becomes a burden, dead weight on those who bear them. They lead to stress and frustration, not joy and fulfillment.
Have been hearing comments from people dear to me feeling stress and all...and that sparked off some of my brain juice thinking...
Surely God has set us on this earth, given us jobs so we can all work...its good to excel and shine, but if its done stressfully and in a most upsetting way, den wouldn't it spoil the journey? God delights in the prosperity of His servants, not just in the physical wealth of His people but in the perfecting of our souls-how we manage ourselves, exercise self control and maintain good attitudes/spirits in the most trying times.
Life's simple. Do your best in everything while relying on the Lord. You're not alone, so don't think you are.
Proverbs 3:5-12
5Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.
11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction;
12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding

What's next?
Its good to back home again!
Its amazing how the same 10 mins ferry ride home seems alot faster today. 9 weeks! 9 long painful weeks. Away from loved ones, away from every familiar sight and smell one could enjoy back in the main land, to taking up arms and assuming responsibility of protecting the nation. One word to describe such change- drastic!
I thank God for being the pillar of strength for me in my weakest, in the darkest night, in the fearful trench and in the latest hour. He has been faithful in supporting me and carrying me through all the ups and downs along the way.
I still remember how dragful it was for me to board the ferry. The 10 mins ride seemed like eternity. Joseph sat beside me and prayed for me.
Re-shifting my thoughts, i prayed: Nothing is by chance, the Lord surely has something in mind for me. God, i'll do my best believing that i can shine for You.
I am not the fittest, not the most vocal, not the most "ga-rang"...yet the Lord chose me to shine for Him and helped me be the best in my platoon. Thank God for such opportunity by His grace.
God has His own plans for everyone of us. When we decide to yield to His plans, there His destiny for us will begin to unfold. This for me was totally unexpected.
Chapter coming to a close, new chapter unfolding.
Where will it be? I'll let God decide.
