freedom
Its a state of the mind, its the condition of ones heart and its also a lifestyle one has. in one's day to day living, though everyone has different experiences in life, what God looks at is our response to it. what we do not have control over, we rely on God. what we have control over, God expects us to deal with it the right way.
in the spirit realm, nothing is hidden from God (and the devil). everything is raw and bare. your condition is evident to all, the stuff that you've done in secret is displayed wide and clear. even though someone could be brave and happy on the outside, the inner condition of the heart and mind becomes a living prison. the soul is restraint, bound and limited, unable to break free.
what are some of the dead weight we carry?
1. habitual sin,
sins that are repeatly commited without acts of actual repentance. with no intention of change and no restitution made to stop sinning.
2. unforgiveness,
rehearsing the pain, anger and hurt repeatly bind one's emotion up, he becomes locked on the inside. as we freely release forgiveness from God, we should find the strength and the grace to freely forgive others who hurt us. afterall, who has never commited any offence before? yet God is willing to die for us on the cross.
3. ungodly beliefs,
beliefs of unworthiness, lack of significanes and value to God, doubts and fears. ungodly and unbiblical beliefs will bind us up, causing us to live a enslaved life.
4. religiousity
when one is religious, he goes through the motion and may even be extremely committed in performing the acts. yet he doesn't have a relationship with God. Martha was religious, he focused on the acts, on performing what is required and what seemed important, neglecting the presence of the Lord which is really the most important thing a believer could have. she instead turned bitter and angry against God, accusing him of not caring enough. religion is dead, powerless to change life and to set you free. Choose to have a relationship with God!
well, the devil has been around for thousands of years setting up traps so that we might fall into them. he's an expert in this field. he wants to trap you and let you live a compromised life under his dominion. But the truth is, God has come to set us free...the battle has already been won!
Claim it in Jesus' name!
Where the spirit of God is, there's liberty.
Open your heart.
Come back to God.
Be honest to God.
Ask Him for help.
Let go off control and let God come in.
Release forgiveness.
Claim your freedom.
Resist the devil.
Expect God to move!
